Contributions to a donor-advised fund allow you to be immediately eligible for a tax deduction and we recommend grants to GCA as a qualified public charity. If giving through a Donor Advised Fund, be sure to let your DAF administrator know Greenville Classical Academy’s tax ID and mailing address. GCA’s Federal Tax ID is #80-0115165.
If you’re 70½ or older, you can make a pretax gift of up to $108,000 directly from your IRA to the school without having to itemize deductions to receive the benefit of reducing your taxable income. These contributions are a great way to satisfy some or all of your required minimum distribution (RMD).
Participating employers allow you to select an amount to be deducted from your paycheck, which will then be forwarded directly to GCA on a scheduled basis.
Check with your employer to see if they offer a matching gift program. If they do, this may be a powerful way to increase your donation’s impact.
GCA gladly accepts gifts-in-kind. The donor determines fair market value through appraisal or comparable market values.

Each year, we encourage every member of the GCA community to support the Annual Fund, which empowers GCA to enhance every aspect of school life—classrooms, outdoor spaces, athletics, and extracurricular activities. While tuition supports our core operating expenses, the Annual Fund provides the foundation for improvements that enrich our shared experiences.
