TRAINING A NEW GENERATION OF K4 - 12 STUDENTS IN THE HIGHEST STANDARDS OF CLASSICAL AND CHRISTIAN TEACHING
Our purpose at GCA is to teach students to love what is lovely, to think and act biblically, and to pursue academic excellence in joyful submission to our wonderful Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Twenty-one girls came together as a team to learn the sport of volleyball in the fall of 2016. They did some fundraising to attend a volleyball camp in the summer to improve their skills and teamwork and are looking forward to putting their new skills into action.
Part of classical education is having the student re-enforce what they are learning in their history classes by using their hands to do art projects.
Students compliment their history class studies by going on field trips. Students from SC History and American History went to the South Carolina State House in Columbia to learn how our state government works.
Our students are encouraged to serve in the local community. Students went to Whispering Pines Stables in Mauldin to do yard work and other manual labors tasks.
"We love GCA! Greenville Classical Academy has been such a blessing to our family this year. We had been homeschooling for four years, so we were not sure how the transition would go--but it has been truly great. We are thrilled to be here, and we could not feel more confident in our children's education. We are so thankful to be a part of such a loving, grace-filled community that strives to do what is best for each child--not just academically but spiritually as well. And of course, our children LOVE it!"

"We have been blessed to have Mrs. Lowery as our daughers' K-5 teacher. Her love for her class and the pride she takes in what she does is obvious."

"There is so much to love about the K4 program at GCA. The teacher is wonderful, and the children learn so much, providing them a wonderful foundation for K5. The activities are fun and purposeful, giving the opportunity for meaningful memories for parents and their child. The staff's love for the children is evident on a daily basis through a sweet and serving spirit."

"We have been overjoyed by our daughter's experience in K4 at Greenville Classical Academy. Mrs. Godwin is so sweet and patient with her students, and she's giving them the foundation needed to love learning for years to come. We are blown away with how much our daughter is learning and retaining, even with only being in the two-day a week program. We now know that she will be well equipped to excel in kindergarten next year, and we are confident that we made the right choice when enrolling her in K4 at GCA!
