The Admissions area of our website is designed to make the application process as simple as possible using our Online Application. This process simplifies submission and provides parents a tool for tracking online the status of their admission after their application has been submitted.
Your Online Application must be completed and supplemental application forms (such as a Pastoral Reference Form) downloaded, completed, and returned to the school.
A non-refundable fee of $50 for each Upper School applicant and $150 for each Lower School applicant must be submitted by eCheck or credit card with each application. (After July 15 of each school year, the application fee is $150 for Upper School and $250 for Lower School.) To begin the Online Application process for the 2018-2019 school year, click here. Online Applications for the 2018-2019 school year became available on November 16, 2017.
Upon receipt of your application and supplemental forms (including a positive Pastoral Reference Form), an entrance testing appointment will be scheduled for applicants entering K5 - 12th grade. Testing for 1st - 6th grades will include assessments in reading, writing, math, and grammar. Testing for 7th-12th grades will include assessments in English grammar and composition and math. After testing is scheduled, the office will contact you to arrange an interview with the Admissions Director, the Principal and a GCA Board member. This interview will take approximately one hour.
